Last Friday, March 18, 2011, Lebron James scored 43 points against the Atlanta Hawks, shooting 76 percent from the field (16 for 21). Not only did he shoot an amazing percentage, but the superstar forward did this on the perimeter for the most part. James converted 13 of the 17 shots he took outside 10 feet. The crazy thing is he didn’t even play in the fourth quarter. With all Lebron’s talents on display he also became the youngest player in NBA history to score 17,000 points, achieving this lofty milestone two years faster than Kobe Bryant who was the previous record setter. At this pace, Lebron James will pass Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan in all-time career points.
